Don't be put off by negative reviews on TripAdvisor, I nearly was!

The rooms were spacious and clean. Pools were great. Having the indoor one was a bonus when waiting for the outdoor ones to warm up (it was February!). Staff were really friendly and helpful. Walk to the beach was about 10 mins, but it was definitely worth it. Quiet and clean.

As vegetarians, the buffet options were a bit repetitive, but that said, there was plenty to eat.

Perfect stunning view from balcony, stuff was very kind and helpful, meals very good.

French speaking staff in evening programs and they were poor, better just a disco for everyone.

Nice week to relax and do nothing.

Clean spacious rooms. Large pools. Buffet restaurant was excellent.

Pool needs to be heated in November. Animation team very loud during the day. Tables outside needed to be cleared and cleared more quickly for the next sitting. Pool towels are given for a refundable deposit.

The hotel could do better if they look at comments and improve from the feedback given otherwise it’s a nice area.

The property is situated in a peaceful and relaxing location, ideal for unwinding. However, if you're not on an all-inclusive deal, getting food can be a bit challenging as there aren't many nearby options. Having a car is essential, as taxis can be quite expensive. That said, the property's proximity to the beach adds to its charm and makes it a serene getaway.

The staff, unfortunately, are not very friendly, with the exception of the domestic and cleaning team, who were polite and cheerful. As a traveler, I’ve encountered much better customer service elsewhere. Even during meals, staff showed little concern for guest feedback or ensuring food availability. I was on an all-inclusive package, but the food was disappointing—repetitive and uninspiring. The fish was overly salty, burgers and pizza were dry, and the pancakes were tough and unappetizing. Overall, the food felt like a waste of money. Additionally, there were several shortcomings for a supposed 4-star hotel. There was no water or coffee provided in the rooms, and the amenities felt basic at best. Guests have to pay a deposit for towels, and getting cups requires exchanging tokens. I expected much more for the rating, but it fell short of expectations.

Cheap and cheerful all inclusive

Excellent hotel for those that want to take advantage of a lazy all inclusive! Nice and clean Great facilities Food is different each day and good selection Staff friendly Nice beach down the bottom of the hill Very quiet area

No water in the room provided or water pumps near the room so you have to walk up to refill each time or buy additional bottles from the shop. Food allergies are a little tricky as nothing is labelled so you have to ask each time which can be difficult to understand/trust. Tv would be handy to have a change language option or ability to use Netflix etc to watch a movie but this is a minor as you can just use phone/ipad.

Good but expected more

The staff were fantastic and the setting is lovely. There's a great attitude amongst everyone who works there. Rooms are big enough without being too large for the estate to be too big to get around. Adrian (photographer) was great value. Took time to interact with us and make sure we were comfortable.

The food was average and hit and miss. Them pizza slices, burgers and hot dogs were usually very dry. On good days though the food was very good. For a four star hotel, the small details lacked: missing coffees, milks and waters after room cleaning. An unorderly group of students responsible for the animacion. At breakfast time there were after still glasses or empty bottles lying around the pool area from the night before.

Good place for a relaxing holiday

I spent a great week at Alua Village. With My Favorite Club upgrade I got a room with an ocean view, close to the main building. The room was nice, spacious, with comfy beds, cleaned every day. The food was good, every day you could have some fish or sea food which I enjoyed a lot. My children were happy to have ice cream after lunch and dinner. My Favorite Club option gives you unlimited access to a lounge with good coffee, snacks, soft drinks and good choice of alcohol and also sunbeds. The outdoor pools were rather chilly in February but an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and sauna fully make up for that. There is a nice gym available. There are some lovely cats living in the hotel area. The hotel is situated on a hill so you have to walk to the beach for a few minutes (and then climb back to your room :). The beach is lovely - fine sand, not too crowded, there are 2 bars on the beach and some water sports available. You can meet lots of chipmunks on the way to the beach and on the beach. There is a Mercadona supermarket just a few minutes walk from the hotel; there is also a bus stop nearby. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, nice and helpful

It was a lovely property to stay and it is good value for money

The view was amazing, all the staff were accomodating and nice.The receptionist angel was very helpful and efficient. The grounds are well maintained and all toilets are accessible and well kept.

The location of some of the rooms are far from the main dining area and pool. The pool and jacuzzi needs maintenance due to missing tiles

The my favourite club lounge/balcony provided a pleasant atmosphere for a drink with a view. Nice swimming pools, could usually find a lounger.

Outside pools were a bit cold. Food choice and quality not brilliant. Indoor spa pool too busy, very slippery.

Wonderful

Awesome experience! I love this vacation, the structure is very beautiful, the main protagonist in this place is the SPA, that adds something that other village doesn’t have, the food is good and the beach is quite near and you can also see the squirrel while you are going to the beach, the staff is very welcoming and nice. The animation is composed by funny guys, I would like to make the compliments to the contactee Tove, who she is always smiling and very funny! I would suggest this village to other people!
